Do you know of — or happen to identify as — a bold wāhine on the board of an organisation and changing the status quo? Nominations are now open for this year’s Women in Governance Awards until 8 June 2022.
Designed to acknowledge the women shaping organisational direction through governance leadership, this annual award has eight intersectional categories to celebrate inspiring women with. These are: Gender Diverse Organisation Leader, Not-For-Profit Governance Leader, Māori Governance Leader, Pacific Governance Leader, Ethnic Communities’ Governance Leader, Rising Governance Star, Lifetime Achievement Award, Gender Champion.
Hosted by Women on Boards New Zealand in conjunction with Governance New Zealand, these awards aim to put a spotlight on the contribution of the women on boards, leading through conscious leadership and bringing their whole selves to the board.
This spotlight has shone many a time on our very members, Activate participants and Breakthrough Leaders alumni — and we can’t wait to see more of our community be recognised for their contributions.
