Jodie King

Chief People Officer, One New Zealand

Jodie has been Chief People Officer at One NZ since 2020, her remit includes Corporate Affairs, Human Resources, Property, Facilities & Health & Safety.

From 2013 she was at Air NZ where she was Chief People Officer from 2015-2020. Prior to 2013 Jodie lived in London for 17 years and during that time was a management consultant at KPMG in London and Europe. Prior to KPMG she worked for New Zealand Treasury and NZ Dairy Co-operative after graduating from Otago University with an Arts degree and a Commerce degree.

Jodie whakapapa’s to Ngai Tahu, is a Trustee of the Te RouRou (One.NZ) Foundation, a Trustee of the Board for Auckland Grammar School for boys and is a member of the Auckland University Business School Advisory Council.

In both a professional and personal capacity Jodie is passionate about equity of opportunity for women and Maori. She enjoys coaching and mentoring people, especially rangatahi, to reach their full potential.

Jodie has three children, a daughter Francesca, and two sons Louis and Freddie. She is originally from Wanganui and loves to travel throughout NZ and internationally, she is an avid reader and music lover, enjoys reformer pilates, tennis and skiing.
