Claudia is an Auckland Council executive manager and Deputy Chairperson at Pharmac, and is recognised as a leading transformational change expert.
In her role at Auckland Council she is privileged to lead council’s customer and community facing services and work with over 3,000 wonderful kaimahi.
Her portfolio includes Libraries, Community Venues, Pools & Leisure Centres, Arts and Culture, Events, Community & Social Innovation, Community Empowerment, Digital and Customer Services, Early Childhood Education, facility and open space management, grants, and an over $11 billion community facilities and parks portfolio.
Claudia has more than 25 years’ management experience, including as a Chief Executive, a manager for McKinsey & Company, and as an expert adviser to governments, hospitals and health systems.
She received her MBA with a Dean’s Award from Harvard Business School and received her medical degrees from the University of Auckland.
