We provide full and partial scholarships to help drive diverse participation in Global Women’s Activate Leaders Programme.
These scholarships recognise the need to develop a pipeline of diverse women leaders that have the skills and knowledge to drive New Zealand forward. This is a reflection of what we believe is a competitive edge for New Zealand.
Global Women Activate Leaders Programme 2023 Scholarships

Global Women Activate Scholarship (Partial)
Value: $2,500.00 per scholarship and covers programme fees only
(Applicants or their organisations to cover the remaining programme fee of $2,500.00 + GST)
Selection criteria – We’re looking for recipients who:
- are valuable employees, recognised by their organisation as a high-potential individual
- are motivated to be an effective leader and succeed in their career
- may actively contribute to their community/iwi
- are able to challenge peers, yet also empathise with and support them
- are intellectually curious and willing to step outside their comfort zone
- are interested in supporting women perform at their best
- are a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand
- could be from a non-profit organisation
- could be running their own business
- could be transitioning back from parental leave or career break.
The Tindall Foundation – Community/Not-for-profit Activate Scholarship
Value: $5,000.00 per scholarship (covers programme fees only, applications are subject to approval by The Tindall Foundation)
Selection criteria – We’re looking for recipients who:
- must be from the community/not-for-profit sector
- are valuable employees, recognised by their organisation as a high-potential individual
- are motivated to be an effective leader and succeed in their career
- may actively contribute to their community/iwi
- are able to challenge peers, yet also empathise with and support them
- are intellectually curious and willing to step outside their comfort zone
- are interested in supporting women perform at their best
- are a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand
- could be transitioning back from parental leave or career break
Scholarships: What they Include
A partial or full scholarship towards programme fees.
The scholarship funding does not cover travel, accommodation, or any other associated programme costs.
