Join us for a special members-only evening at Mercy Hospice.
Global Women is proud to host this gathering, offering our members the opportunity to connect while learning more about the extraordinary work of Mercy Hospice – an organisation providing compassionate, specialist palliative care to people and whānau facing life-limiting illness.
This year’s event coincides with Melbourne Cup Day. We’ll pause to watch the race together and run a friendly sweepstake to raise additional funds for Mercy Hospice. And, in the spirit of the Cup, we encourage you to wear a hat!
On the evening, you’ll:
Bring – A donation for one of the eight Hospice Shops. Clothing or homeware items are welcome, provided they are clean and of good quality.
Make – Get hands-on at the creative giving stations:
Take Away – Hear personal stories from Hospice staff and gain insight into the care they provide, so you can help spread awareness and demystify hospice care.
Tour – Experience a guided tour of Mercy Hospice, exploring the different spaces and services that support patients and families both onsite and out in the community.
