Keren Blakey

Former Chair, PwC New Zealand

Keren is Chair of PwC New Zealand. She leads the firm’s Board and is responsible for overseeing PwC’s governance and corporate responsibility. The Board plays a critical role as they execute on a growth strategy in a rapidly changing environment with a strong focus on ESG and diversity and inclusion. Keren is also lead partner of the PwC Non Executive Director Programme.

Keren has extensive experience in governance and assurance as lead assurance partner across a broad range of significant listed groups, private equity, private clients and governance roles both in NZ and overseas. Keren is passionate about working with organisations as we all lead through a period of significant change.

The current environment calls for inspirational leadership, leading with empathy and humility, recognising that all our stakeholders are juggling multiple priorities, ensuring we are listening and demonstrating we are listening in the decisions we make. Being open minded and curious will support us to truly build more equitable, diverse and inclusive cultures in our organisations and benefit all our key stakeholders.
