I have deep governance experience from an extensive career as PwC NZ Chair (2020-2024), Board member and Partner, working with clients and the firm through various economic cycles and in my current role as a trustee on the University of Auckland Foundation.
I have a proven ability to understand key business drivers, challenge the status quo with a focus on both economic, geo-political and market dynamics.
I enjoy working alongside directors in sustaining trust in our governance models. Building resilient business models which offer the best long term value to shareholders, employees, society and our environment requires new thinking and strong and inclusive governance over business transformation journeys.
I bring more than18 years experience as a PwC partner providing a range of audit, governance, financial due diligence, acquisition accounting and IFRS advice to private equity, listed and private companies, in the UK, Canada and New Zealand. I have had the privilege of serving on the Board of Governors Diocesan School for Girls as a board member and Audit & Risk Committee Chair. I have extensive experience working with audit committees as an audit partner and in governance roles.
In my audit partner role I approached work proactively and pragmatically, working closely with clients to identify solutions and deliver timely and relevant advice. I bring highly effective communication skills and experience to a range of clients in sectors spanning entertainment and media, retail, property/ infrastructure, life insurance, technology, health, freight, consumer and industrial products and private equity.
