Katherine Corich

Business Transformation Director, Associate Fellow, Sysdoc Group

Katherine is a non-executive director of the UK Civil Aviation Authority and CAA International (CAAi). She is an Independent Member of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Leadership Board and the Air New Zealand Sustainability Advisory Panel.
Katherine chairs It’s a Penalty, a global charity dedicated to harnessing the power of sport to eliminate human abuse and trafficking.
Katherine is the Chairman and Founder of Sysdoc, a global service provider delivering transformational change, capability transitions, simplification and efficiency services. She qualified as a commercial pilot / flight instructor before combining her passion for aviation and inquisitive intellect to become an expert in business transformation.
A former Associate Fellow of the University of Oxford – Saïd Business School, with an MA in Generative Linguistics, Katherine was inducted as a Flying Kiwi into the NZ Hi-Tech Hall of Fame, named 2015 UK New Zealander of the Year, and has twice won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Katherine is a trustee of Pure Advantage NZ, a group of leading entrepreneurs working together to champion environmentally focused economic models and business practices to ensure New Zealand transitions to being a world leading, climate positive, economically thriving and socially just society.
Katherine is a non-executive director of MyWaveAI. She served on the Advisory Board of the University of Auckland Business School, and was on the International Advisory Board of the University of Canterbury; in a period of intense challenge for the university: it’s re-building following the devastating Christchurch earthquakes.
Katherine is the mother of 4 children and 3 grandchildren who keep her fit, energised and focussed on the future.
