Katherine is founder and Chair of the Sysdoc Group, a business transformation consultancy with operations in 4 regions and consultant reach in over 72 countries. Sysdoc expertise is in business transformation, leadership of change, process engineering, simulation based learning, knowledge portals and cross border working.
Katherine leads on governance, global strategy and new market development. She is also launching a cloud based technology start-up and invests in several technology companies.
Katherine has led transformation programmes for National Australia Group, Fonterra, IBM, ICL Fujitsu, Telecom, Vodafone, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and contributes to projects in Chevron, Shell, Network Rail, Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren, Carbon Trust and the public sector.
Katherine’s leadership of performance based philanthropy, including a major current project designed to increase child protection and reduce child abuse, is ground breaking.
Katherine’s Board and Non Exec Director roles include Liverpool Mayoral Development Corporation, Women in Leadership Europe, Global Women and Happy Child Foundation. She is on the Advisory Boards of University of Canterbury, CEISMIC, Aviva Families and Global Angels.
She has been awarded the 2015 UK New Zealander of the Year, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards (Finance, Services & Arts (2003) and Master Entrepreneur (2010)), Aveeno Business Women of the Year and a Finalist in UK National Business Awards..
Katherine has a MA in Linguistics, University of Canterbury, a Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction (UK IoD) and is a qualified as a Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor.
