Carrie Hurihanganui

Carrie has had a multi-faceted and successful career across marketing, energy, airline and financial services industries for the past 28 years, currently working as Chief Operating Officer for Air NZ. Her professional goal is to advocate for women’s growth in industry; and have a significant impact through making a tangible difference at commercial and community levels within a socially responsible and sustainability committed organisation.

Carrie studied at Massey University in New Zealand and has a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Management. She has continued her leadership development over the past 10 years through Ernst and Young Executive programme (facilitated by Darden Business School, University of Virginia), the International Women’s Foundation Fellowship programme (Harvard Business School Executive Education, Boston, and INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France) and the McKinsey Executive Leadership programme (Australia).
