Anne Urlwin

Anne is a professional director who divides her time between Wanaka and Wellington. Her governance experience is in a diverse range of sectors including energy, construction, health, telecommunications, infrastructure, regulation and financial services, and in different organisational types including private, publicly listed, Crown and local authority companies and statutory entities.

She is currently a director of listed companies Infratil Ltd, Precinct Properties New Zealand Ltd, Vector Ltd and Ventia Services Group Ltd. Anne is also on the board of City Rail Link Ltd and is an establishment board member of the NZX Corporate Governance Council and a member of the National Council of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand. Other contributors to her experience in major projects, infrastructure and sustainability are her former directorships of Summerset Group Holdings Ltd, Queenstown Airport Corporation Ltd, Tilt Renewables Ltd, Chorus Ltd and Steel & Tube Holdings Ltd. Anne is also a former director of Cigna Life Insurance New Zealand Ltd and a former Deputy Chair of Southern Response Earthquake Services Ltd. She previously chaired the boards of national commercial construction group Naylor Love Construction and the New Zealand Blood Service.

She is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors, a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business in the 2022 Queens Birthday Honours.

Prior to commencing her governance career, Anne held executive finance roles in the meat and IT industries following several years with KPMG.
