Global Women member and outstanding technology leader Kari Jones has been officially selected for the Global Top 100 Innovators in Data & Analytics 2024.
Over the past year, Kari has carried out a unification of Aotearoa New Zealand’s health system, in her capacity as Chief Data Officer at Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand. This immense piece of mahi has included the consolidation of data across the health sector through the implementation of a National Data Platform, enabling safer, more efficient, and better integrated sharing of health data.
“It has been nothing short of a marathon 12 months,” says Kari. “This honour reflects the truly incredible collective efforts of Data Services and the wider Digital team.”
