Global Women Event Terms and Conditions

Booking

Where you are purchasing tickets on behalf of third parties, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of those third parties to these terms and conditions.

Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel your registration, please email us at least 10 business days before the event. If we receive your cancellation by this deadline, you may be eligible for a refund, less a 20% + GST service fee, processed on a best-endeavours basis.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations received after this date. 

With approval from Global Women, you may transfer your registration to a colleague at no additional cost.  If you wish to make any changes to your registration, you must notify us at least 5 business days prior to the event.

If you are unwell, please do not attend the event and contact us to discuss refund options.

Cancellation by Global Women

In the unlikely event that Global Women needs to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the Event due to unforeseen circumstances or reasons beyond its reasonable control, we will notify ticket holders as soon as practicable.

If the Event is cancelled, ticket holders will receive a full refund of the ticket price paid, processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

If the Event is postponed or rescheduled, a refund or credit will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

While every effort will be made to deliver the Event or Programme as planned, Global Women is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by attendees as a result of a cancellation or change, including travel or accommodation expenses.

Transfers
If you are unable to attend an Event, your entry ticket may be transferred to another person at the discretion of Global Women. To transfer your ticket please contact hello@globalwomen.org.nz.

Any transfer requests within 2 working days of an Event cannot be guaranteed.

Photography

We may photograph/ video courses and events. These images may be used in, but not limited to Global Women, Power Circle, or Champions for Change promotional materials, social media and website. If you, or the person you are booking on behalf of, do not grant the release of your image, please contact the event organiser. 

At the event or course, if photography is being taken, you have the right to not have your image used by the Global Women. If you do not wish to have your image used, please contact the event organiser.

Speakers
The views expressed by speakers and presenters at our Events are their own. Global Women does not accept any liability for advice given, views expressed or in any material provided to attendees, by any speaker at any Event.


Covid-19 policy for in-person events and programmes

The New Zealand Government has now removed the last remaining Covid-19 mandates, including the seven day isolation period for people with Covid-19.

If you are attending an Global Women programme or event and have cold or flu like symptoms please stay at home. For the wellbeing of yourself and others, if you test positive for Covid-19, we expect you to follow the Government recommendation and isolate for five days after testing positive. Please contact us if you are unable to attend so we can discuss your options.

Information we collect in connection with our Events or Programmes may include your personal information. By attending one of Global Women’s Events or Programmes you acknowledge and agree to our General Privacy Policy.
