Agnes stepped into the CEO role in 2020 seizing the opportunity to utilise the pandemic disruption to navigate the present and creating a way forward for Global Women role to lead and serve a more equitable Aotearoa, New Zealand. Building a dynamic environment alongside individuals, organisations and communities who share the vision and the energy to be the change we want to see.
Agnes, who is of Ngā Puhi and Ngāti Raukawa descent, has a long connection with Global Women, as a Breakthrough Leaders Alumni, membership, and as a Board Member. Agnes has held senior leadership role in tertiary education and holds a number of board roles including St Stephens – Queen Victoria Trust, First Foundation and Arts Regional Trust Te Taumata Toi-a-iwi.
