Thriving workplaces need future-fit leadership: diverse thinking, courageous action, and leaders who deliberately champion inclusion across gender, ethnicity, and experience.
A prosperous, inclusive, and gender-equitable Aotearoa New Zealand.
To accelerate diversity and inclusion in leadership across Aotearoa New Zealand by championing and advancing the development of women.
We unlock potential and break down barriers to the advancement of women.
With the mission to accelerate diversity and unlock potential in the next generation of leaders, our three programmes support the development of wāhine leaders at any point in their career. So far, our programmes have embolden the careers of 2000+ women.
ACTIVATE is designed to lift participants from middle management to the next phase of their career – driving a mindset shift and inspiring their career trajectory
ELEVATE targets mid–senior leaders ready to step confidently into enterprise leadership, operate strategically at a systems level and build practical capability and networks. It offers practical, real-world learning with sustained impact.
BREAKTHROUGH LEADERS is a strategic investment in Aotearoa’s leadership future. The programme develops leaders who can navigate complexity, influence systems, and champion the aspirations of a diverse, changing nation.
Global Women members are a collective of over 450+ generous, inspiring women leaders, pushing for diversity in leadership. They stand up, speak out and spark change.
Power Circle is a bold new network designed to extend the impact of Global Women’s leadership programmes and partnerships.
It offers individuals and organisations a meaningful, values driven way to invest in wāhine leaders — deepening connection, capability, and cultural confidence, while contributing to the collective goal of inclusive, sustainable prosperity across Aotearoa.
Through Power Circle, wāhine leaders join a living ecosystem of mentorship, learning, and collaboration that continues long after their programme experience — where leadership becomes a shared journey of impact
Our thought leadership agenda positions us as Aotearoa’s authoritative voice on women’s leadership. Through a growing Knowledge Hub through Power Circle, a focused research agenda, and a bold advocacy strategy, we deliver credible insights that shape conversations and influence change.
Our partnership with Kahurangi, Auckland Girls’ Grammar School is more than a relationship, it’s a living commitment to future leadership.
In 2025, Global Women introduced a Māori Leadership Scholarship to honour this connection and strengthen the pathway for young Māori leaders. Through our events, rangatahi don’t just hear about leadership – they experience it, embodied in wāhine they can relate to, aspire to, and one day stand alongside.
We have invested $1.6M+ in scholarships for Māori and Pasifika wāhine to attend our leadership programmes with funding from The Tindall Foundation.
We create spaces where women leaders can build authentic relationships, learn from one another, and spark meaningful change. Through signature events, a growing alumni network, and purpose-led communities of interest, we’re cultivating networks that strengthen leadership across Aotearoa. From intimate connection events to national gatherings and industry forums, our programmes empower women to collaborate, share knowledge, and shape a more equitable future together.
Creating opportunities for emerging leaders, we strengthen the leadership pipeline by investing in capability, confidence, and executive presence through targeted development programmes.
Accelerating change for gender equity and inclusivity, we expand reach and capacity for organisations – building belonging, support and shared momentum.
Shifting systems through bold, values-led advocacy that challenges the status quo, influences decision-makers and drives lasting change.
Cultivating meaningful lasting relationships that cross industries and sectors, we support our members with the tools, networks and influence to drive change from within.
