“Genesis has been committed to eliminating the gender pay gap since 2017, and our Gender Gap Statement sets out our intentions and actions to help achieve this target. We address and report on three measures: the gender pay gap, the pay equity gap measuring equity of pay for men and women doing equal value work, and senior leader gender diversity.
“Making progress in these areas is a challenge in the energy sector where there is a predominance of male candidates for many roles, but we remain resolute. Diversity of thought is critical to a successful business. We’re conscious of the need to ensure women candidates feature in our recruitment process, and support our women employees to fulfil their potential.”
Genesis is a Living Wage Accredited Employer, received the Rainbow Tick in FY22, and received reaccreditation for the YWCA GenderTick in FY23.
