Just one hour after becoming a Global Woman Member, Frances Shoemack was awarded an incredible accolade at the New Zealand International Business Awards 2022, by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise.
We’re proud to share that Frances has been honoured with the Inspiring Women Leaders award, brought to the event by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade | Manatū Aorere.
Frances was acknowledged for her work leading her 100% natural perfume brand, Abel, across an international team of women across Amsterdam, Boston, and Abel’s Wellington headquarters. As a direct-to-consumer brand with exports in 25 countries accounting for more than 80% of the Abel’s revenue, the Inspiring Women Leader of the New Zealand International Business Awards is a fitting tribute to Frances.
The judges described Frances as “a genuine and transparent individual who leads with a faithful outlook for a real, natural and sustainable future.”
There’s no shortage of innovation in Frances’ work at Abel. Not only are they completely natural, they’ve just launched a one-of-it’s-kind scent designed specifically to support perimenopausal changes.
