Global Women Members Win New Zealand International Business Awards 2021

Two of the extraordinary exporters in the Global Women community have been recognised in this year’s New Zealand International Business Awards 2021. Congratulations to Rebecca Percasky and Katherine Corich for their category win and highly commended recognition!

Hosted by our Partner organisation, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, the awards are designed to celebrate those that step up to grow the economy for the good of the nation, exporting Āotearoa to the world.

This year saw a particular focus on recognising and rewarding resilience — and we’re proud to announce that two of our members have had their tenacity and focus on reshaping their strategies for the future acknowledged.

Global Women member, Katherine Corich, founder and Chair of the Sysdoc Group, was Highly Commended in the Inspiring Women Leaders category: designed to recognise women leaders with the skills and perspectives to lead from a uniquely New Zealand perspective, while maintaining a broad global outlook.

Our recently-joined Global Women Member, Rebecca Percasky’s company, Better Packaging Co. has taken out the Excellence in Sustainability award. Brought to the awards by our Major partner organisation, ANZ Bank, this category is designed to recognise excellence in sustainable business.

Judges were blown away by the sustainable impact the Better Packaging Co have created, at remarkable scale and soon after launching their business, ” shares the NZTE team. “Judges describe their growth as a fantastic story of taking New Zealand to the world – with entrepreneurs coming together fuelled by brilliant ideas and focussed on outcomes.
