DESCRIPTION:Join Global Women for an inspiring evening that brings our global mission to life – and celebrates the year\, our community and the connections that make it special. \nCourage\, connection and the power of a global network. What can happen when women across borders mobilise around a shared purpose? \nJoin us for the remarkable story of more than 200 Afghan women judges whose lives were put at grave risk when the Taliban returned to power in 2021 – and the international network of women judges that mobilised to help save them and their families. \nWe’ll hear first-hand from: \n\nThe Honourable Dame Susan Glazebrook DNZM – then President of the International Association of Women Judges and a leader of the international effort to evacuate the judges.\nRaihana Attaee – former Afghan judge\, evacuated to New Zealand.\n\nTheir story is a powerful example of women supporting women across borders – and a springboard for a conversation about Global Women’s own global ambition.
