This session will unpack practical strategies for removing hidden barriers\, strengthening representation\, and enabling people from diverse backgrounds to see themselves as leaders – and be supported to step forward. \nIdeal for business leaders\, governance professionals\, and anyone committed to building inclusive\, future-ready organisations. \nRecognised leader and changemaker Judene Edgar MNZM CMInstD will lead this insightful masterclass. Judene is a Global Women member\, Director and Principal Governance Adviser with the Institute of Directors’ Governance Leadership Centre\, and Chapter Zero NZ lead\, providing research\, best practice guidance and advocacy for directors. \nThis session will deliver practical insights as we explore: \n\nWhat makes a leadership pathway “visible” and why transparency matters for equitable access.\nCommon barriers to leadership and governance participation and practical approaches for redesigning systems so they work for more people.\nTools and frameworks that support equitable talent development\, succession planning and governance readiness.\nReal-world examples and actions organisations can take now to build cultures where diverse leaders are not only present\, but able to thrive and lead.
