Isobel Kerr-Newell is currently the Director of Champions for Change on behalf Global Women. She is also member of Global Women and one of the Champions for Change herself. In parallel to her role with the Champions, Isobel is the CEO/Director of Artemis Communications, an integrated, purpose-led communications that supports Global Women with their communications programme.
Isobel is a strong advocate for women and is driven by a personal purpose of making Aotearoa and the world a more equitable and safe place for women and girls, using her voice, communications expertise and the platforms available to her to create change. She is a regular speaker and writer, advocating for women, in particular, mothers in leadership. She has been published in a range of outlets including the New Zealand Herald, amongst others.
Isobel was previously a Non-Executive Director and later CEO at integrated digital content agency VideoTaxi. Prior to that she was Managing Director of MSL, an award-winning full-service public relations and communications agency she opened on behalf of Publicis Groupe in New Zealand. Before this, Isobel was Head of PR, Social and Business Development at Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand, and was also Marketing Director for Saatchi & Saatchi across Europe Middle East and Africa, based in London. She was also on the Board of Directors at Saatchi & Saatchi Sweden and a member of the Saatchi & Saatchi worldwide advisory board on sustainability.
