Susan is an experienced business leader with a particular interest in helping companies to drive growth through technology, innovation and organisational culture.
Susan is currently the Chair of Vista Group (VGL – NZX/VIL – ASX), and an Independent Director on the Boards of Xero (XRO – ASX), Mercury (MCY – ASX/NZX) and Arvida (ARV – NZX). Susan is also an Independent Director and Shareholder of Craigs Investment Partners.
Susan is a past director of ASB Bank, Trustpower (TPW – NZX) and Property for Industry (PFI – NZX). Susan has also been an Independent Director on the Boards The New Zealand Merino Company, Compac Sorting Solutions and Wynyard Group.
Susan was a long serving Tribunal Member of the NZ Markets Disciplinary Tribunal and a board member of Global Women. She is also a past member of the IHC Board, the National Advisory Council for the Employment of Women and the Strategic Advisory Board of the New Zealand Heart Foundation.
Susan’s management career included a variety of executive roles at ANZ including General Counsel and Company Secretary, General Manager of the Direct Banking Group, Chief Executive of ANZ’s second registered bank in New Zealand and General Manager, Wealth Business.
Susan was a finalist in the 2014 Westpac New Zealand Women of Influence Awards.
